********Install Windows 2000 without CD-key
1.Go to the "I386" Directory
2. Edit the file setup.ini
Actual contents are
[Pid]

Pid=51873XXX
Then change the xxx value to 270 i.e
[Pid]
ExtraData=6166656c73626373737373b2574a0581
Pid=51873270
********Install Windows without CD-Key
This is done when you are installing within the windows. i.e. already it
is having the Windows operating System. Actually you have to change the "setupp.inf"
that is inside "precopy?.cab" File.
* Method One: (Easiest)
Inside Windows When you are asked to "Accept" the "Licence Agreement" do
not click on "Next" from there Press CTRL+ESC and open the file
"wininst0.400\setupp.inf" file in this find the String "Product Type" then
change this value to 1,2,5,6,7,9. i.e.
"1" Upgrade without asking for CDKEY (Serial Number)
"2" CDKEY required
"5" Asks for CDKEY but wont take valid key and you get the option to ignore
and go on.
"6" Works ok
"7" Works on Windows 95 and 95A
"9" OEM non upgrade Version
"Product Type"=1
* Method Two:
Copy all Windows Installation files to your HDD. In that same folder create
"MSBATCH.INF"
[Setup]
Product Type=1
Press Enter
Press Enter
Save and Install Windows 95. After Completion of Installation Process you
may find the Product key at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion
"ProductKey=value" same as ProductId.
************At the Time of Installtion Dont give the
OfficeXP CDKey that already mention
1.Copy all files to HDD in a Directory
2. In the FILES\SETUP directory
3. Edit the Setup.ini
in the [Options] tab add the line
PIDKEY=(Your Product Key Without Dashes)
4. Burn the CD same and when you install OfficeXP you are not prompted
for the CDKEY.
***********Service Pack1 for Windows XP will fail to
install on installations of windows with one of the following ProductID's
xxxxx-640-0000356-23xxx and xxxxx-640-2001765-23xx.
1. Take backup of required files before trying this.
2. Log in as Local Administrator.
3. Then go to Start>run>regedit(w)
4. In the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\wiaevents
in the right pane "oobetimer" modify this.
5. Change at least one digit of this value to deactivate windows.
6. Save above all and quit.
7. Then Start>run>%systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a
8. Click YES, I want to telephone a customer service representative to
activate windows the click NEXT.
9. Change Product Key click.
10.Now Enter Valid Product Key.
11. Press Update.
12. Remind me later if it goes Previous Window.
13. Now Restart.
To know the changes go Start>run>%systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a
the message like updated successfully.
